Gianluigi Lano Winery is nestled in the picturesque Barbaresco region, just 5 km from Alba in Lombardy’s renowned wine country. This family-run estate is led by patriarch Gianluigi, with the support of his wife, Daniela, and their son, Samuele. Until 1993, the estate’s grapes were sold to the local cooperative, but since then, the family has dedicated itself to producing its own wines.

Committed to conduzione biologica (organic farming), the vineyards are cultivated with deep respect for nature and terroir. Low yields are achieved through careful grape thinning and natural ground cover, ensuring the purity and authenticity of each cluster. Winemaking follows a natural approach, with fermentation driven by native yeasts and stabilization carried out through physical processes rather than microfiltration. Ferments and malolactic conversions take place in concrete, while élevage is conducted in seasoned oak casks. These wines faithfully reflect their origins - pure, genuine, and unmistakably true to their heritage
